| UGLY LEGS - ANSWER |

|
To investigate this claim, you would first have to develop a scale of ugliness and a method of measuring it. Presumably this would mean surveying peoples opinions. Once this difficult task was complete, the rest would be easy: select a random group of golfers and record their golfing prowess and the ugliness of their legs in a table. Next plot a graph with leg ugliness on the x-axis and golfing ability on the y-axis. As long as the line rises, then confirmation is given to the claim. This would be some tentative support for the hypothesis, and it could really not be called a law. To attain that status, the hypothesis would have to be scientifically tested by many different groups of scientist over a long period of time, without ever failing the test. Reference: Ugly Legs |
