Hoola Hoop Dolphin

In Lima's elegant suburb of San Isidro there is a hotel called "Los Delfines". It has pictures and statues of dolphins all over the lobby, giving a distinct theme to the hotel. The real surprise comes when you sit down to dinner in the restaurant and find you are face to face with two live dolphins called Wayra and Yaku. The hotel organises displays each day and claims that these creatures are well looked after and happy in their little pool. They certainly seem healthy and well fed, and they put on a fine show.

In this picture they seem to be defying gravity with their hoops. How is this possible?
