SKAGEN

Two seas, the Skagerag and the Skattegat, meet at Skagen, the northernmost tip of Denmark. 

After many years of failed travel plans, I finally managed to visit this remote spot whilst on a driving holiday from France.

I am pictured here standing at the point where the two seas meet. If my wife had followed my instructions a little bit better you would be able to see that I am well away from the beach, and that there is nothing but sea to my left and right.

Can you explain the strange wave next to me?
