TRAIN WINDOW

The picture on the left was taken looking out of the window at 6 am on the train from Athens airport to the city centre.  The picture on the left was the same picture taken on the return journey at 10am.  Can you explain why they are so different?  What would the second picture look like if taken outside the station?  

Look carefully at the left hand picture and you will see it has a multiple image.  Can you explain this phenomenon?
